Training + Practice = Preparation
At Eastwick our mission is to forge athletes into unstoppable units who can play at an elite level, but the dedication to growing within the sport starts at home. In order for each player to reach their full potential, they have to hold themselves accountable and take their development as players (outside of practice and tournaments) very seriously.
You can’t blame a coach for the work you’re not putting in.
The competition is only going to continue getting tougher as each player gets older, so remember — training builds skills, practice tests those skills in controlled settings, and games/tournaments act as the final test where preparation meets real pressure.

What does it mean to be AN Elite ATHLETE?
The true meaning of elite comes from the Latin word eligere, meaning "to choose" or "to select". At its core, it describes a small group of people who stand above others due to exceptional skill, high achievement, or great power. Playing at an elite level is a lifestyle choice, not a title.
Google defines an elite mentality in youth basketball as the psychological edge that separates good players from great ones. It focuses on relentless self-improvement, emotional control under pressure, extreme accountability, and treating both practice and academics as a full-time commitment.
Are you ready to level up?
