parent/guardian code of conduct

The mission of  Eastwick Elite is to develop confidence, self-esteem, and sportsmanship through the performance of recreational team sports, while promoting physical and moral character development to all participants. To ensure the appropriate atmosphere for these activities, the organization has adopted a zero tolerance policy in the enforcement of the Parent’s Code of Conduct.

*Parents/Guardians shall pledge to provide positive support, care, and encouragement for their child/ward participating in activities of Eastwick Elite by following this Parents’ Code of Ethics.


*Parents/Guardians (and their guests) shall encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice or other event.


*Parents/Guardians (and their guests) shall refrain from engaging in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, player, or parent such as booing and taunting; refusing to shake hands; physical or verbal attacks, or using profane language or threatening gestures that would incite spectators or student-athletes.

*Parents/Guardians (and their guests) shall refrain from using any kind of obscenities or offensive comments about race, religious, nationality, sex or identity-based statements (verbal or non-verbal), written, or printed towards any player, coach, and/or parent or guest.


*Parents shall place the emotional and physical well-being of their child/ward ahead of their personal desire to win.

*Parents/Guardians (and their guests) shall refrain from confronting players or coaches from opposing teams that exceed socially acceptable behavior.


*Parents/Guardians (and their guests) shall refrain from ridiculing or yelling at their child/ward or other participant for making a mistake or losing a competition.


*Parents/Guardians shall insist that their child/ward play in a safe and healthy environment.


*Parents/Guardians shall support coaches and officials working with their child/ward, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.


*Parents/Guardians shall demand a sports environment for their child/ward that is free from drugs, tobacco and alcohol and will refrain from their use at all events.

*Parents/Guardians shall remember that all practices, games and tournaments are for youth - not adults.


*Parents/Guardians shallI do their very best to make youth sports fun for their child/ward. Parents/Guardians shall require their child to treat other players, coaches, fans and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed or ability.


*Parents/Guardians shall help their child/ward enjoy the experience by doing whatever they can, such as being a respectful fan, assisting with coaching, or providing transportation.

All Parents/Guardians shall must confirm that they understand and agree to abide by the above Code of Conduct, If any Parent/Guardian does not live up to the Parents’ Code of Conduct, they will be subject to disciplinary action that could include, but is not limited to the following: verbal warning by official, coach, or on-site director; ejection from gym or outdoor court; parental game suspension, game forfeit; or season suspension with no refund of fees and no credits for future seasons.  All Parents/Guardians must confirm that they understand and agree that this Parent Code of Conduct will be applied in conjunction with and consistently with the Refund Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
